Kelly Smith is the Sussex  regional lead for Black Girls Hike UK which is a CIC focussed on empowering black women into accessing the outdoors, improving health and wellness and challenging stereotypes. Sam curates and delivers creative and intellectual work on surfing, sustainable tourism and geography through films, books, articles, workshops, lectures, events and educational programs. His work often focuses on emerging surf communities and cultural tourism projects in areas that are post-conflict or post-environmental disaster. Sam always intends to celebrate responsible tourism and surfing’s potential to inspire positive change in both local and global contexts. Sam has a PhD from Falmouth University (researching travel writing and surf exploration in Haiti), and a MA in Geography from Pembroke College, the University of Cambridge.

Emma has developed and produced a variety of commercial campaigns with Coldhouse over the last few years, most recently collaborating with Blue Earth speaker Hetty Key and photographer Guy Farrow on the Granger’s Wear and Care Campaign. Coldhouse are members of partner 1% for the Planet and donate 1% of their turnover to Moors For The Future, a partnership working to restore the uplands of the Peak District and South Pennines.
