Speaker Bio

Kate has over 23 years of investment industry experience after graduating from the University of Durham where she studied Natural Sciences.  Kate specialises in investments on behalf of purpose led clients.

She leads Cazenove Capital’s sustainability capability – the wealth management arm of Schroders – building investment portfolios that have a dual purpose of delivering financial returns and impact.

Kate has co-authored of a number of charity and foundation investment best practice publications including ‘Intentional Investing’ and was the winner of a Women in Investment award for her work with the Treasury, Charity Commission and FCA to establish the Charity Authorised Investment Fund. Kate has held a number of trusteeships including chair of a local community charity, vice – chair of a primary school and chair of a Foundation finance and investment committee.  She has volunteered in refugee camps and is a passionate advocate for refugee rights, diversity, equity and inclusion.
