General Information

The Blue Earth Summit (“Blue Earth” or “the event”) is organised by Blue Earth Summit Limited (“Blue Earth” or “the organiser”), a company registered in the United Kingdom. These general terms and conditions (GTCs) form the agreement between the ticket holder (“participant”).

Blue Earth reserves the right to modify these GTCs at any time and without any recourse from the Participant.

Reservation to the event by the participant constitutes full acceptance of the terms and conditions herein.

Ticket Purchase

Tickets are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual named on the ticket.

All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations by the ticket holder.

Ticket pricing is confirmed by the participant at the time of purchase. If the ticket holder sees a discounted offer at a later date they are not eligible for “match pricing” or adjustments.

Blue Earth reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule including but not limited to event timings, internal locations (stages etc), speakers, or performances. Any such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund, exchange, or other compensation. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of any significant changes where possible, but it is the responsibility of the ticket holder to stay informed of any updates.

In the event of a date change all ticket holders will be offered the chance to transfer their tickets to the new date, or given the option of a refund.

It is understood that Blue Earth reserves the right at any time:

  • To refuse any registration or participation in an event from a participant (or their substitute) who would not be up to date with all their payments.
  • To refuse any registration from a client for legitimate and non-discriminatory reasons.
  • To exclude at any time any participant whose behaviour interferes with the smooth running of the event and/or is in serious breach of these GTCS.
  • To exclude any participant who has made false declarations at the time of registration, without compensation."

Event Cancellation or Material Change

In the event of cancellation or a material change initiated by Blue Earth Summit Limited, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund. Blue Earth Summit Limited reserves the right to make changes to the event schedule, speakers, or venue. In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to notify ticket holders in advance.

Force Majeure

Blue Earth Summit Limited shall not be held responsible for any delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.

In the event of force majeure and/or a similar occurrence resulting in the cancellation of the physical holding of the Event on the scheduled dates, Blue Earth reserves the right to choose either a physical postponement, or a transition of the Event to a digital format, as outlined below. It is clarified that in the case of a postponement, the force majeure event and/or similar occurrence will only have a suspensive effect and will not give rise to compensation for either party.

In the event of a physical postponement, Blue Earth will make every effort to reschedule the Event to a later date, ensuring that it can be conducted under the same conditions, and within a maximum period of 12 months from the originally scheduled date.

If force majeure and/or a similar occurrence result in the cancellation of the physical holding of the Event, and a postponement is not feasible as outlined in the preceding paragraph, Blue Earth will be relieved of its obligations related to physical services and will instead provide the services in a digital format.

Blue Earth reserves the right to adopt Force Majeure policy if there is a “similar case”. The Similar Case encompasses the following circumstances, without requiring adherence to force majeure criteria, provided that their occurrence impacts the Parties in fulfilling their obligations (referred to as the “Similar Case”):

  • Acts by government or public authorities, acts of war, or terrorist attacks,
  • Health crises, states of pandemic leading to governmental measures,
  • Material impossibility for the Parties to fulfill contract obligations (particularly due to restrictive measures impacting freedom within the territory) or impossibility related to challenges in the paper market (production, supply),
  • Participation rate of Partners in the Event falling below 50% in value due to an event beyond Blue Earth’s control,
  • Uncontrollable damage, attributable to third parties, or a natural disaster, such as fire or explosions affecting the Event location and hindering its preparation under satisfactory conditions considering its scale and reputation, or its hosting,
  • General strikes (external to the Parties), public movements, or riots preventing safe access to the Event."

Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner during the event. Blue Earth Summit Limited reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any attendee violating the event's code of conduct without refund.

Commercial use of event photography or recordings without prior written consent from Blue Earth Summit Limited is strictly prohibited. In the event that any photos have been used for commercial purposes, Blue Earth reserves the right to claim ownership of the image, or charge a set fee.

Image Rights

The Participant is hereby informed and consents to the capture of their image, as well as that of their employees and/or representatives, through photographs and/or films taken by Blue Earth during the Event. The Participant grants Blue Earth the right to reproduce and display their image and/or that of their employees and/or representatives on all printed, video, or digital media during the dissemination of any photo or film documentary or promotional material related to the Event, for any current or future edition of the Event.
