Brandwave Announce BrandLAB VIP Guest Mentors for Blue Earth Summit ’22.

Brandwave and Blue Earth Summit are proud to announce the line-up of BrandLAB VIP guest mentors for this year’s event; Simon Hill Norton, Co-Founder of Sweaty Betty, Rich Philip, Brand & Marketing Director of Stance, Paul Griffiths, Managing Director of Fenix Outdoor UK Limited, Charlotte Pearce, CEO & Founder of Inkpact, Emily Dillon, Sales Director at Snow Peak and Tom Reding, Group Digital Director at Brew Dog.

The BrandLAB sessions are bespoke face-to-face mentoring sessions with the senior team (and special VIP guests) of one of the world’s leading sports marketing consultancies, Brandwave. BrandLAB is free to all Blue Earth Summit ticket holders. Spaces are limited and will be pre-bookable to delegates via the event app, which will be available to download one week in advance of the event.

Simon is the Co-Founder, former CEO, and Chair of Sweaty Betty – the iconic global British women’s activewear brand. He is currently a board member of Finisterre and  ROHNE as well as a positive impact investor.

Rich Philip – Brand & Marketing Director, Stance

Rich was until recently the Brand & Marketing Director of Stance – a brand that has globally turned socks into one of the world’s most exciting accessories in less than five years. He will shortly be starting at Science In Sport (SIS). His role at Stance lived  at the intersection of art and science, building campaigns that perform at the highest level while inspiring the human spirit. Rich is Co-Founder of insurance brand, Guevara, Board Member of Beco Pets and former Marketing Director of Amer sports (Wilson/ Salomon/ Bonfire/ Nikita).

Paul Griffiths – Managing Director Fenix Outdoor UK Limited

Paul has devoted his life and career to sport and the outdoors. A relentless drive for progression coupled with a passion for outdoor sports give him the foundations to leap forwards. Paul has built iconic brands from household staples such as Wilson to mountain sport specialists Salomon, Arc’teryx and Fjallraven. He comes with a multitude of skills having held positions ranging from Head of Marketing to UK Managing Director.

Emily was instrumental in founding and establishing the European subsidiary of Snow Peak, Japan’s leading outdoor brand. In her role of Sales Director, Emily oversees business development and sales throughout the UK and Europe.

Originally from a fashion background, Emily appreciates good design and her camping adventures reflect her relaxed style. Often centred around a campfire she actively shares and promotes her love of camping and the outdoor lifestyle with others.

Emily believes that we all have duty to protect and preserve our natural resources and she cherishes time away from her screen enjoying the restorative power of nature.

Tom Reding – Group Digital Director – Brew Dog

BrewDog is the #1 craft beer in Europe and one of the fastest growing brands in the UK with several groundbreaking sustainability initiatives including The Lost Forrest. Tom leads the team responsible for ecommerce, digital marketing, product development and customer service for BrewDog’s international businesses.

Previously, Tom headed up Programming and Audience Development at Red Bull Media House. He was also a BAFTA award nominated film director at the BBC.
