Hope Not Tate: Alastair Campbell and Sir Tim Smit in Conversation
With just two weeks to go until Blue Earth Summit, we’re excited to announce that Alastair Campbell will open the Blue Earth Stage on Day 1, October 15th.

Writer, podcaster, strategist, and former spokesman for Prime Minister Tony Blair, Campbell joins Eden Project Co-Founder, Sir Tim Smit, for what promises to be a powerful and unmissable conversation.

Under the title “Hope Not Tate”, they will explore the urgent work of the Lost Boys Taskforce, which Campbell chairs, a national call to reimagine masculinity and support young men in crisis.

Against the backdrop of Andrew Tate, adolescence trials, and cultural moments such as Gareth Southgate’s Dimbleby Lecture, the role of men in society is overdue for reinvention.

This is more than a panel. It’s a vital conversation for everyone, no matter who you are, where you are, or what your business is.

Drawing on the work of A Band of Brothers, Football Beyond Borders, and the Trusted Adult Guarantee, this session is a rallying cry: to mentor, to connect, to step up.

Huge thanks to Matt Hocking and Dave Harland for curating this moment, for their commitment to A Band of Brothers, and for shining a light on the uncomfortable but necessary conversations we all need to have.
