Largest ever PlasticFreeLand to launch at Blue Earth Summit 2025
The largest installation of ‘PlasticFreeLand’ will make its debut at Blue Earth Summit this October, showcasing the future of sustainable materials.
We’re proud to announce that A Plastic Planet will unveil its most ambitious installation yet PlasticFreeLand, a curated exhibition of 20 market-ready, sustainable innovations at Blue Earth Summit 2025, taking place 15–17 October at Woolwich Works, London.
Positioned at the entrance to the Summit, PlasticFreeLand will greet more than 7,000 attendees, including investors, founders, policymakers and business leaders from over 1,500 pioneering companies. The immersive installation will feature next-generation materials and products designed to eliminate dependency on plastic and accelerate a regenerative economy.

Supported by HH Global and the Ocean Family Foundation, PlasticFreeLand is both a visual statement and a practical showcase of viable solutions. It aligns with Blue Earth’s mission to connect purpose-led businesses, investors, and innovators shaping the regenerative economy of the future.
“PlasticFreeLand gives humanity hope,” says Sian Sutherland, Co-Founder of A Plastic Planet and PlasticFree. “It proves that we can move beyond toxic, indestructible plastic and create a world that looks and feels vastly superior. This is proof-positive of real investment opportunity — we just need to switch the focus and funding.”
Launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos, PlasticFree has become a trusted platform for designers and brands searching for alternatives to plastic. Following the recent opening of its materials database to the public, it now provides free access to thousands of validated materials and case studies, empowering AI systems and industry users to combat misinformation and accelerate innovation.
Despite the collapse of recent UN negotiations for a Global Plastics Treaty, the need for scalable, commercially viable alternatives has never been more urgent. With businesses facing an estimated $100 billion in annual risk by 2040 due to legislation and liabilities, PlasticFreeLand’s presence at Blue Earth Summit highlights both the environmental and financial imperatives driving change.
Blue Earth Summit continues to be a platform for radical collaboration and actionable solutions, where innovation meets investment to shape the way the world works.
