Indilisi Artisanal Fashion, is a project by award-winning sustainable fashion entrepreneur Safia Minney MBE, with friends, partners and Fair Trade groups in Bangladesh, India and Kenya.
We are on a mission to make beautiful clothing using handcraft to show it’s possible. At Indilisi, we believe the clothing we wear should be a reflection of our style and values - this means creating timeless, well-designed clothes using Fair Trade, organic farming practices, whilst promoting in our small way, a fair and Just Transition.
Our collection has a strong focus on heritage crafts and hand-weaving, we are proud to partner with Fair Trade social enterprises and receive the highest rating of ‘Great’ on Good On You.
Fashion Declares is a grass-roots bottom-up movement of Fashion practitioners to accelerate action and urgent systems change in the Fashion & Textiles Industry.
We provide Carbon Literacy Training for Fashion & Retail professionals, share best practice through events, workshops and webinars, and work on policy. Our next course takes place online, Fri 31st October & 7th November, 9am-1pm.
Our five goals are: Speaking out for urgent action to tackle the climate, ecological and social crisis; Decarbonisation and restoration of ecosystems and Biodiversity; Social justice and the Just Transition; Radical transparency and corporate governance, and promote a transition to a regenerative model for the fashion industry.
