Presca becomes our newest brand partner for ‘22
The global clothing industry is one that accounts for more than ten percent of the planet’s annual carbon emissions and over twenty percent of its annual water pollution. In the UK alone, more than 350,000 tonnes of unwanted but still wearable clothing is sent to landfill every year. Less than one percent of clothing is ever truly recycled.
Nine years ago, Rob Webbon and Guy Whitby set out to challenge this unacceptable status quo by establishing the world’s first climate positive sportswear company: Presca. For the last decade, the two have transformed their innovative creation from a part-time hobby to an established player in the global teamwear space, which today supplies climate conscious athletes at every level from amateur to world champion status. Blue Earth is immensely privileged to announce their partnership with the brand as part of this year’s summit.

Alongside the rest of the team, Rob – Presca’s CEO and Head of Climate Positivity – will be joining us as a speaker. A cyclist, runner, triathlete and self-proclaimed sea shanty enthusiast, Rob’s fifteen years of experience in sustainability and environmental science and deep passion for the outdoors makes him an excellent addition to our ‘22 summit.
