Clare Brook is the CEO of the Blue Marine Foundation, a leading marine conservation NGO dedicated to protecting and restoring ocean biodiversity. Joining the organisation in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer, she became CEO in March 2015. Clare has over 24 years of experience in sustainable finance, including managing environmental funds at Jupiter, NPI, and Henderson, establishing Aviva’s sustainable investment division, and co-founding WHEB Asset Management. Under her leadership, Blue Marine Foundation has grown significantly, aiming to protect 30% of the world’s oceans by 2030.
Clare Brook is CEO of Blue Marine Foundation, one of Europe's leading ocean conservation NGOs. Clare joined Blue Marine in 2014 as Chief Finance Officer and then became Chief Executive in 2015. Prior to joining Blue Marine, Clare worked in environmental and impact investing for 24 years, managing pioneering funds at Jupiter, NPI, Henderson and Aviva, where Clare established the sustainable investment division. She then went on to co-found impact investor WHEB Asset Management. Since joining Blue Marine, the organisation has grown twelve-fold.
