Darren Evans is a passionate environmental advocate and co-founder of Pair Ups and The Green Runners. Through Pair Ups, he champions affordable and accessible shoe repairs, reducing waste and extending the life of running gear. As race director of the Rathfinny Run and Longbridge Backyard Ultra, Darren designs events with sustainability at their core, ensuring they leave the smallest footprint possible. Beyond racing, he supports projects that promote well-being and environmental stewardship, serves as an ambassador for the WOLO Foundation, and uses his poetry to inspire action for a greener planet.
