Buckle up for some audacious evening entertainment on Thursday night, as the infamous Futurenauts take to the stage for a riotous gameshow.

The Futurenauts are Ed Gillespie and Mark Stevenson. Drawn together by their shared frustrations with the current world, but love for the potential of a common future which is regenerative, equitable, humane and just the duo have been working with organisations of all sizes for over a decade to stretch the imagination of the possible, and achieve transformative results for their clients in a process they call ‘insultancy’. “It’s like consultancy except shorter, more impactful and a damn site more fun, “ says Mark.

Expect stacks of frontline comedy alongside plenty of the good stuff to keep you fuelled and refreshed throughout the evening; food trucks, wood-fired offerings and an array of drinks.

As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll see the evening off in style with dancefloor filling legends, The Nextmen, taking to the decks to close the show – an evening not to be missed!

‘I’m a sustainability expert get me out of here!’ (IASEGMOOH)

Welcome to the environmental jungle! In a riotous and scurrilous mash-up of multiple popular game-show formats, The Futurenauts – Ed Gillespie and Mark Stevenson – present a comedy panel show like no other, replete with special sustainability expert guests. Featuring bare-faced rip-offs from all your favourite programmes, from ‘Missing word headlines’ to ‘Bushtucker trials’, watch as compere Ed mercilessly puts two unsuspecting and entirely unprepared teams, (one captained by Mark), through their paces, until every last one of them is breathlessly screaming the eponymous title of the whole charade. Expect laughter, irreverence, ‘kompromat’ evidence and involuntary entomophagy…

The Nextmen

Dancefloor filling legends, The Nextmen, will be headlining our UnEarthed event, making sure we go out with a bang. The Nextmen have been remixers since 2000 working with the likes of Public Enemy, the Pharcyde, Blackalicious, Jeru the Damaja, Groove Armada, the Kooks, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Rae & Christian, and many more.
Right at home on any festival stage, from Glastonbury to Bestival, Lovebox, every Notting Hill Carnival, Big Chill, T In The Park and Wavelength’s Spring Classic Festival – this is a party not to be missed!

Wavelength Surf Film Festival

An evening of surf cinema, talks and music curated by Mike Lay and the Wavelength team.

Wavelength Editors, Mike Lay and Ed Temperley will be joined by a selection of contributors from Wavelength Vol. 265, film makers and a live interview with 2x World Champion, John John Florence, dialling in from Hawaii.
