Blue Earth Summit is pleased to announce the addition of Jo Royle and Lucy Siegle to the speaker line-up. Jo is the founder of Common Seas. A former trans-ocean sailing and racing skipper including expeditions to the Antarctic, Sundarbans and trans-Atlantic voyages, she founded Common Seas to design out marine plastic pollution.
Lucy Siegle is the official panel moderator for the Campfire Stage, featuring eight panels including Indigenous Insights, Navigating Greenwashing with B Corp and Diversity in Action. Lucy is a journalist and broadcaster known for her passion for climate and nature stories and bringing them to a wide audience.
The Summit is also proud to include the award-winning independent culture media platform Huck as a media partner, alongside leading running event organisers Maverick Race as the trail and bike programme partner for day two hosted at The Wave.
PITCH TENT The Pitch Tent format is now live and featuring an experienced line-up on the panel, all experts within the impact investment sphere. The funding event is a platform for high impact, fast growth ethically-led businesses to pitch their ideas and network with angel investors. Companies represented in the panel include Redrice, Mustard Seed, Broody, Crowdcube, Sustainable Ventures and in partnership with Wavelength Ventures.
BURSARY SCHEME The Blue Earth Summit Bursary Scheme offers the next generation of sustainability pioneers, those in education or from outside of the business community a chance to attend the event for free, or at a subsidised rate. Applicants can apply here.
