Elias Elhardt (* 27. February 1988) is a professional snowboarder, film director and activist from Germany.
As an athlete he is considered one of the best backcountry snowboarders in Europe, having taken a main presence in multiple international snowboard films and on podiums across the world for the past decade.
Using this platform, he also got into filmmaking and has directed three award winning short films exploring critical questions about personal goals, responsibility and societal conflict through the lens of his sport.
With this strive, he’s recently also gotten more involved in activism and is the initiator of a lobbying campaign for better climate policy across Europe together with Protect our Winter and Citizens Climate Lobby.
