Emmanuel Ameyaw is a Communications Specialist with strong interest in Climate Adaptation and Youth Development. Currently, he works as Founding Editor of The Climate Insight. In his role, he adopts varied communication tools to improve climate awareness and education in Ghana. In his previous role as Communications Officer for the Youth Climate Council Ghana, he mobilized thousands of young climate activists and youth-led climate organizations into a formidable network to advocate for climate justice in Ghana. He is committed to nurturing the next generation of Effective Climate Justice Leaders in Ghana.
 
Emmanuel also serves as a Communications Specialist for Care About Climate. He is a member of the UNFCCC youth constituency – YOUNGO Communications Working Group. He served as Communications Lead for the Local Conference of Youth on Climate Change 2022 (LCOY Ghana). He is the Public Relations Contact Point for the African Youth Mobilization for COP (AYM4COP) – a campaign to increase African youth participation at UNFCCC Climate Conferences (COP). 
 
He has published articles on climate change and its impact on communities across major news outlets. His long-standing passion for climate communications has seen him work in different capacities across TV, online and print media.
 
This extensive work has earned him recognition, including the Clean Air Reporting Fellowship 2023, CJID West Africa Climate Change Fellowship 2022, Innovate4Climate Media Fellowship 2021 and Global Investigative Journalism Conference Fellowship 2021. He is a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network.
