Katharina Stolley is a Lecturer in Marketing and doctoral researcher in the Department of Marketing at the Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and International Management and an MSc in Consumer Behaviour. Her research interests lie in the areas of marketing within the creative and cultural industries, the production and consumption of cultural artefacts, marketing communications, branding and ethics. She is currently investigating how branded entertainment and new product placement modalities are transforming the creative industries. Prior to commencing her academic career she worked in the creative industries and in marketing across a range of industries.
