Laurie is a writer and guide, passionate about nature connection and self-development. She is the co-editor of Wilder Journeys, which she created to provide a platform for adventurers and nature lovers to share their wisdom with the world. She has also contributed to magazines such as Resurgence & Ecologist, the Bristol Cable and STIR to Action. She is also trainee Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioner and rites of passage guide, integrating soft reflective practices that benefit wellbeing with hard skills, such as basic bushcraft, foraging and wildlife tracking
