Sal is co-founder of SOS Whitstable, a group of ten cold water swimmers on a mission to stop raw sewage being pumped into our waters.
Starting with a local focus, in under two years SOS Whitstable have gained national and international recognition and press coverage by publishing two petitions with 350,000+ signatures, holding three protests that drew thousands, visiting Downing St, and persistently engaging the public to pressure the water industry, regulatory bodies, and politicians to improve sewage pollution.
