Introducing ‘Pitch Tent: Business’ Partners, Seedrs
We’re delighted to announce that equity crowdfunding platform, Seedrs, will be a partner of this year’s Pitch Tent: Business category, presented by Wavelength Ventures, where entrepreneurs and founders are being given the chance to live-pitch for investment.
From hundreds of applications, 10 finalists will pitch online to become one of 4 winners to pitch live to more than 30 of the world’s best impact investment funds and hundreds of Angel and Retail investors attending the Summit. All the investors have a passion for purpose-led businesses that can be a force for good in protecting our planet and its people.
As Europe’s leading online investment platform, Seedrs is a perfect fit as partners for this year’s expanded Pitch Tent format. The platform has overseen more than 1,700 successful campaigns for fast-growth and impact businesses, including wonky fruit rescue company Oddbox, sustainable tissue brand The Cheeky Panda, impact investing platform tickr and Urbantz, the last-mile sustainable delivery management platform. Joining Seedrs in the room will be hundreds of investors as well as of UK’s leading VCs including, Sustainable Ventures, Redrice, Active Partners, Vala, OnePlanetCapital, and Conduit to name a few.

With the Pitch Tent sitting at the heart of the Blue Earth Summit, the process has been designed to break down traditional barriers to entry, recognising the lack of funding and sponsorship that currently goes to female and under-represented founders.
