Six Finalists

Six finalists will pitch live at Blue Earth Summit. One will receive £10,000 in unrestricted funding and support designed to turn impact into momentum. Runners up will each receive £1,000.

BE100 2026

A New Chapter for BE100

For the first time, BE100 will move away from judging businesses solely by company stage.

Instead, founders will apply across 10 future-defining industries, recognising that the challenges (and opportunities) facing sectors such as energy, healthcare, artificial intelligence, food systems and the built environment require specialist expertise, investment and collaboration.

From more than 1,000 expected applications, the top ten businesses in each industry will be selected as the BE100, before pitching live at Blue Earth Summit to leading venture capital firms and industry experts.

Who should apply?

BE:IMPACT is for registered UK charities that:

  • Are already creating meaningful, measurable impact
  • Have a courageous campaign ready to reach more people
  • Could go further with greater visibility and support
  • Can pitch live at Blue Earth Summit on Wednesday 14 October 2026

COURAGE MATTERS MORE THAN POLISH. You do not need a communications team or a professionally produced application.

From application to the Main Stage

  1. Apply: Tell us about your campaign, the impact it creates and what greater support could unlock.

  2. Make the shortlist: Five finalists, representing five thematic categories, will be selected through expert review.

  3. Pitch live: The finalists will pitch on the Main Stage at Blue Earth Summit on Wednesday 14 October 2026.

The winner will be decided through expert judge scores and a live audience vote.

Selection Process

A More Rigorous Selection Process

Every application submitted to BE100 undergoes a structured evaluation process involving Blue Earth, ecosystem partners, institutional investors and sector experts.

Businesses are assessed against six core criteria:

01 Better than what already exists
02 Commercial viability
03 Defensibility
04 Team capability
05 Positive impact
06 Live pitch performance

This ensures every company selected for the BE100 represents not only exceptional innovation, but genuine investment potential.
