Hatching the Future: Blue Earth Joins Forces With Broody’s Eggbox
Because the future doesn’t hatch itself, founders do.
Because the future doesn’t hatch itself, founders do.
We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Blue Earth and Broody, Mother London’s business incubator, as they launch Eggbox, a world-class, six-month programme designed to transform early-stage ideas into investment-ready businesses.
Broody, led by Pippa Dunn and Andy Medd, has spent eight years helping founders overcome the early barriers that hold back promising startups, supporting them with strategic, creative, commercial and operational expertise, and building a portfolio valued at over £300m. Eggbox is the next evolution of that mission: a carefully designed incubator for 12 brilliant founders ready to take the next leap.
At Blue Earth, our work is built around a simple belief, business can be a force for good, but founders need support at the moment they need it the most. Eggbox aligns perfectly with that vision.
Why Blue Earth Is Partnering With Eggbox
Founders enter the world with bold ideas, but the early stages can be scary, hard and lonely. Broody’s research shows that although almost half of UK adults want to start a business, only 2.5% ever do, and two-thirds of new businesses fail within five years. Not because founders lack potential, but because they lack the right support systems, creative firepower and access to networks at the exact moment those things matter most.
Eggbox solves that.
For us at Blue Earth, this partnership extends our commitment to finding, funding and scaling purpose-driven businesses shaping a better world. Through our Ventures Portfolio and BE100, we meet thousands of founders each year building solutions across climate, regeneration, circularity, food systems, technology, energy and beyond. Many of these founders are ambitious, values-led and early on their journey, exactly the stage Eggbox was designed for.
By working together, we can help more founders turn early sparks into investable, scalable organisations.
