Momentum Across the Ventures Network

From oversubscribed raises and major infrastructure launches to national recognition and creative collaborations, May has been another strong month across the Blue Earth Ventures network.

What continues to stand out is the diversity of solutions being built across the ecosystem. Businesses tackling energy, fintech, circular infrastructure, fashion, mobility and climate resilience are all finding momentum in different ways, whether through fundraising, commercial deployment or cultural relevance.

Here’s what’s been happening across the network this month.

BE100 Investments Announced

This month, we officially announced the first investments made through the BE100 Fund, backing the three winning businesses from the 2025 BE100 cohort: Segura, RAFT Energy and Low Carbon Materials (LCM).

Developed in partnership with Haatch, the BE100 Fund was launched to directly back the most promising BE100 winners with capital and strategic support.

From decarbonising construction materials and improving anaerobic digestion performance, to making heavy metal water testing more accessible and scalable, each company represents the kind of commercially viable, systems-level innovation the future economy needs more of.

The investments mark another important milestone for the BE100 platform, which continues to identify and support some of the most exciting purpose-led businesses emerging across climate, nature and human health.

Product & Infrastructure Launches

TechnoCarbon

TechnoCarbon has launched its first low-carbon solar carport beside Provence Airport.

The structure uses their patented Pierre-Carbone composite material in place of conventional steel and aluminium supports, significantly reducing embodied emissions. Designed to cover six cars, it will be built and connected to the grid in two phases over the coming weeks.

The technology is corrosion-resistant, long-lasting, and purpose-built for the growing demand for solar-covered parking infrastructure across Europe.

Raising — €2 million pre-Series A

Recirculate Systems

Member company Recirculate Systems Limited has an exciting milestone on the horizon, with the launch of their circular cup system at Manchester Airport scheduled for the beginning of June.

It’s a significant achievement that demonstrates the real-world scalability of reusable infrastructure, and a proud moment for the circular economy in the North West.

KOSTÜME has launched #EDIT009, a limited-edition cycling collection created in collaboration with British contemporary artist Adam Ball.

The capsule translates Ball’s layered, process-led artwork, inspired by energy patterns found in nature, onto performance fabrics designed to move. The collection is strictly limited to 350 pieces worldwide and available to preorder for a short window, with fulfilment planned for the week commencing 29 June.

True to the Kostüme model: small-batch, no excess stock, no discounting.
