The Crown Estate is a unique business with a diverse portfolio of land, property, and marine assets across the UK, managed on behalf of the nation. Established by an Act of Parliament, it is guided by a clear purpose: to create lasting and shared prosperity for the country.

Its portfolio includes London’s Regent Street and St James’s, rural and coastal land, Windsor Great Park, and almost half of the foreshore around England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as the seabed out to 12 nautical miles. This breadth gives The Crown Estate a pivotal role in the UK’s energy transition, biodiversity restoration, and the development of nature-positive and climate-resilient solutions.

Reinvesting profits for the benefit of the nation, The Crown Estate is driving innovation in offshore wind, sustainable land management, and regenerative business practices. Through collaboration with communities, businesses, and government, it is working to shape a more sustainable future where people and nature thrive together.
