Former MP for Twickenham
The Rt Hon Sir Vince Cable has recently retired from Parliament after 20 years as MP for Twickenham during which time he served in the Coalition cabinet as Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills from 2010-15. He later served as the Leader of the Liberal Democrats from 2017-19. Prior to entering politics, Sir Vince worked in the Diplomatic Service, was a Special Adviser to the Commonwealth Secretary-General and headed the international economics programme at Chatham House.
