What Happens When the Spirit of Competition Is Applied to Creating a Better World?
How movement in nature inspires movement for nature?
Summit Sneak Peak: Sport & Adventure
At its core, Blue Earth has always been about connection, to each other, to ideas, and above all, to the natural world. In 2025, our Sport & Adventure Track returns to explore how the simple act of movement can catalyse something far greater: a movement.
Sport shapes culture. Adventure builds resilience. Together, they tell stories that transcend industries and borders, reminding us what’s at stake, and what’s still possible.
On October 16, we invite you to join us in London for a powerful day of talks, panels, pitches and immersive sessions from athletes, explorers, founders and campaigners who are using the outdoors as a stage, and a catalyst, for change. This is not the full programme, but a glimpse of what’s to come.
Adventure Pitch
Hosted in collaboration with Russ Cook from Hardest Adventures and National Geographic Adventurer and Author Al Humphreys.
Do you have an expedition in mind that could change the world, or at least your corner of it? The Blue Earth Adventure Pitch is back. We’re handing the mic to grassroots adventurers with bold ideas in need of funding, advice, or connections.
This is where passion meets possibility. Whether you’re planning a first-of-its-kind journey or seeking to use adventure to tell a bigger story, pitch your project live on stage to an expert panel. Previous applicants include the now legendary Hardest Geezer, Russ Cook, and the climate-connecting journey Sea Land City by Mairead Cahill.
The outdoors isn’t just for recreation, it’s for radical storytelling.
Spotlight Session: Hannah Cox, Project Salt Run
Hannah Cox, founder of the Better Business Network, shares the powerful personal story behind her plan to run 100 marathons in 100 days across India, following the historic Inland Customs Line, once used to enforce a devastating salt tax. Launching the day after the Summit, this journey isn’t about the miles. It’s about healing colonial wounds, raising £1 million for 1% for the Planet, and reclaiming space for connection, purpose, and regeneration.
